Minors
After t-ball plus the kids are ready to step up to the next level of competition. At the minor league level kids age 9-10 begin to play baseball in a more structured way. Generally there are 12 kids on a team. There are some modifications to actual baseball, because it is intended to still be instructional in nature. There are 10 fielders which includes a fourth outfielder. The entire team bats before the first kid in the order returns to bat again. Even if that child did not play the field that inning. For the most part the kids pitch, although there may be some early season restrictions.

Majors
This is designed for kids age 11-12 who are ready to play one step above the Minor leagues. The goal is to prepare the kids to compete for a position next year in Junior High. Thus while it is more competitive there is still a high level of instructional activity. There is a playoff at the end of the season for those teams that qualify. It is still modified base path lengths and pitching mound distance.
